Description

To design a private yet functional and practical front and rear courtyards for this small 70’s era dwelling. The rear courtyard needed to present a low maintenance wow factor whilst accommodating a clothes line, bin storage area and BBQ. This was achieved with the use of screens and built in seating area to allow the client to enjoy the morning sun.

The front courtyard was completely shaded during winter and received the harsh summer afternoon sun. The existing brown brick walls were to be softened with a combination of foliage and feature screens. While adding a combination of water and fire and blue led lights enabled the area to take on a dramatic night time feel.
